This weekend, our scouts took a trip to the channel islands for a backpacking trip. They had to take a ferry to the island, and there, the scouts hiked around the island. They saw shores and wildlife throughout their trip.

​Originally we were going to backpack up at Mt. Lowe for the weekend. The weather was going to be bad this weekend in the mountains so we turned the backpacking trip into a practice day hike with our backpacking to test out our equipment. Thanks Mr. Marucci and Mrs. Dorner for setting this up!
